Sophomore Transfer Info/Questions

I currently am attending a state school in Ohio as a freshman. I in the college of engineering right now, but I am interested in switching into the business school to study finance/econ/accounting (one of them of course). I saw that UNC has a good finance program, so I was interesting in gauging my chances of transferring into the school of business at UNC. So here are my stats:

High school: 3.5 GPA, 1340 math+verbal SAT (are these two even factored)

College so far:
Chem 101: A- (took in the summer)
Micro Economics 101: A (took summer before senior year)

Calculus I: currently enrolled
Physics I: currently enrolled
Physics Lab: currently enrolled
Foundations of Engineering: currently enrolled

Obviously for the next quarter, I will try to get into the college of business so I can take more finance related courses. If I maintain a 3.5-3.8 GPA will I have a good chance??

Also, are there any courses that I am required to take (I tested out of English through AP credits) to get into the school of business?

Thanks

I would say probably not. You wouldn’t have come close to getting in as a freshman so you will probably have to wait one more year at, what I’m guessing is OSU. I would say you need at least a 3.6 to have a good shot. But the good thing about UNC is that the business program is only two years long and you only go into Kenan-Flager as a junior so you really wouldn’t be missing anything. Also you should probably go to the Kenan-Flager website to check for prereqs and everything, it’s all available and easily accessible.
