I heard or read that it is easier to get into Stern than CAS as a transfer applicant

Since there are a lot more applicants who applied to CAS

I was wondering if that is true or not.

Oh wow I don’t think its true. Stern is NYU’s most selective school. Even for transfers your GPA has to be a minimum of atleast 3.85 and that’s coming from an NYU official.

Im currently in a CC and I also plan on applying for transfer to NYU for my sophomore year, I went to a program they had for CC students and they said to be even considered for Stern your GPA has to be a 3.85 and that’s not just CC students, that’s for everyone.

And for IR you’re not guaranteed a spot in their program.
