How hard is it to get into a top tier sorority as a sophmore? Do you have as good a chance as freshmen or do your chances decrease significantly?
Top tier according to whose criteria? Just as you search for a college or university that is the best fit, you need to find a greek organization that fits you best. That is, don’t go into rush looking for the group that you can fit into. Look for the group that fits you.
My daughter entered rush the first week of freshman year. It was all going too fast for her. She dropped out of the process. At the beginning of her sophomore year, she tried again. She had had a year to see what she wanted out of USC and what her time commitments would be. She is very pleased with how it all turned out as she found a group of women who fit her just right.
