Sorry...another ED chances thread :)

I asked a while back in the general forum about my general chances at an Ivy, but my stuff has changed quite a bit. I'm going for Engineering:

SAT: 760 Math, 730 CR, 720 W (these are all +20 from my first time taking it)
SAT II: 770 US-H, 730 MIC, 660 Physics
AP: Comp Sci A - 4, Eng Lang - 4, Stat - 5, Calc AB - 5, US-H - 5

For Physics, I took it last year kind of cold (studied too much for the US-H), and hadn't learned ANY thermal physics or modern physics (about 20% of the test) in the GT Physics class last year...I also stupidly thought the MIIC would be too hard having taken Trig/Analytical Geo. in 10th grade, so I'm taking that in November with the Physics, and expect around 720-750 on Physics and close to 800 on MIIC w/ that generous curve.

GPA: 3.6/4 (UW)
Rank: 24/475 (top 5%)
I've always taken the hardest possible class schedule...for some reason I was never that motivated to ace every class until last year (when a combination of more interesting teachers and subjects made me realize I was capable of more).
9th: GT Math 9 (Geo), GT Bio, GT Art, GT English, GT Gov't, Sp. 3, Gym
10th: Hon. Sp. 4, GT Math 10 (Trig/Analyt Geo/Coll. Alg), AP Comp Sci A, GT World Hist, GT English 10, gym, GT Chem
NOTE: GPA after these two years was about 3.3
11th: AP US-H, Hon. CISCO I/II, AP English Language, GT Physics, Hon. Eng/Tech,AP Calc I/II (AB), AP Stat
I got straight A's this year.
12th: GT ENES 101, AP Calc III (BC), AP English Lit, AP Physics C, Health (required), AP Macroecon

I have straight A's this year so far (pretty close to end of first quarter).

My ECs suck:
3 years of Varsity Golf (team county and district champions all 3 years)
3 years County All-Academic Varsity Golf Team
4 years Ski Club
75 service hours
Work - since 10th grade ~30 hrs/week
I've also been building my own computers since 9th grade.

Anyway, I have really good letters of recommendation, one of them from my Physics teacher last year who taught at the college level for like 30 years and one from my 10th + 11th grade Math (calc/trig/college alg/analytical geo) teacher.

Chances?
I'm sure my ECs will bring me down some...I've never joined many clubs because most of them form in the fall, when I have golf practice after school everyday for 2-4 hours, and in the spring I've worked since 10th-grade 2-3 days a week after school and all weekend.

Thanks for any replies.

dude you're giving excuses and explanations for everything...if you like golf and if youre plugging the crap out of it, then it wont matter if you weren't in other clubs.

I don't think you should worry too much. Your GPA could probably be a little better, but your SAT scores are probably good enough (Physics of course could be better though). However, you should play up the fact that you're very interested in golf to make up for the fact that you didn't join other clubs.

Actually, I'm a 4 year Varsity golfer too :) and I'm applying to Cornell Engineering. Though my stats and amount of extracurriculars vary from yours.
