Sorry One more question.

I know USC superscores...that's what highest section across all tests policy means..Right?
On the application, there are only three spaces to write the test scores..I've already taken SAT three times and I will retake it in January. I did some research on this forum and it seems like USC accepts Jan score if the score arrives in time..Should I let them know I am retaking jan SAT? There is no additional space on the scores section. And also, since USC superscores, I believe taking SAT 4 times wouldn't hurt..Am I wrong?

Thank you very much.

they consider Jan. scores so don’t worry. however, the problem is the fact that this is your 4th time taking sat. although it doesn’t go against anything, it might not be very appealing to the admissions people.

I just can’t let this go…

This is an example that although this is a GREAT forum for many reasons, it’s also a good idea to do research on the USC Admissions website. Check out the FAQ’s about this subject.

I thought it didn’t matter how many times you take the SAT even if its 9239828948991 times for the schools that superscore…No?? :(

Your answer was not what I was looking for…I already knew about it if you have read my thread but thanks anyway.

lifegr, if you will re-read the quote that cc411 provided, USC is saying that it is very unlikely that tests taken after December 2009 will be used in considering your application.

Lifegr- maybe you didn’t read the post from Laure327. I was clarifying that with a link. Other people reading your thread may have been misled by the statement that they consider January SAT scores when there is actually a risk that the score will not be considered.

thank you! :)
