don't let the idiots above discourage you in any way. they have NO basis for their comments other than their own misconceptions about how the process actually works. One thing for sure - you will have 0% chance of getting in if you don't try. And given that nothing is guaranteed, just make sure you REALLY look at other schools too. I say this as both a Dartmouth Grad and someone who spent many years working for Harvard.

Did I say she shouldn't apply? In fact, you have said nothing in your post that contradicted mine, nor do you have any basis to call me an idiot, aside from sheer arrogance.

Those stats look great, in my opinion. As far as someone else's comment on the SAT score, a 1470 is pretty damn high -- you're definitely in the range in terms of Dartmouth's statistics according to the Princeton Review.

I completely agree with Bristolstomp. I think sneamia is pompous and nasty and has no right to voice such a nasty, derogatory opinion against another individual. That could be the worst post ever. I am going to come out and say that i think sneamia should be permanently banned from college confidential and should never, ever right another post. Thanks a lot sneamia for ruining mah steeze.
