Moderately unrelated to college.
This summer I’ve encountered a ton of these little green bugs (somewhat related to college, since they’re on campus). They seem harmless enough but they are EVERYWHERE.
Please excuse me for being bug-illiterate, but what in the world are they?
Thanks, Julian
Aphids?
@julianstanley What do you mean “EVERYWHERE” - outside? In your bed? In your room? In the classroom? Arethey small, large?
Found them! Probably a type of birch aphid – small downy birch aphid, maybe (http://influentialpoints.com/Gallery/Aphids_on_birch_betula.htm)
Thanks!
And @suzyQ7 – everywhere was an exgaggeration. Just outside. And small. If I’m sitting outside I tend to squash approximately 10 per half hour.
