I'm currently a high school junior and will be taking taking the SATs the June and possibly again in October. Currently on practice tests I average about 2100-2200 (Math:600 CR:750-800 Writing:750-800) I try to study for about two hours every night, but no matter how hard I try, my math score is hopelessly mired below 650. My problem areas are functions and geometry.
Did anyone else encounter similar blocks while studying for the SATs? Advice?
Thanks

Didn’t encounter this problem, but math is supposed to be one of the easiest subjects to improve on the SAT. Do ALOT of practice problems so you can come to recognize them. Look at what exactly is messing you up on the functions and the geometry. (Maybe you just need to review some concepts?) Overall you should be able to improve your math score drastically if you put in the work.

Just do a couple sections every day, review your mistakes, see if you can find solutions online and work them out a lot.

Can I ask how you’re getting CR scores of 750 - 800? I’m a junior too and my CR score is hopelessly at 650 and I would love for it to go up because I’m taking the May SAT. How do you do it?
