South Campus Brownstones

I’ll be a sophomore at BU and was just assigned to a 5 person suite in the South Campus Brownstones on park drive. Does anyone have any information about these? I don’t know anything about campus housing so any information would be really appreciated! =]

I lived at 509 park drive and it was awesome! may have some rats and bugs, but I lived there during the summer and have some very fond memories  just like the Bay State Brownstones, all of them are different because some are renovated and nicer, some aren’t. But South Campus is a really cool area…definitely has a more campus-y feel, and you’re right in between Coolidge Corner and Downtown.

Okay awesome, thank you! Do you know where the closest T stop is? Or what the layout in a 5 person suite could be like? Also, where did you eat- are there any dining halls close-by? I’m in 520. It sounds nice though.

Is 29 Buswell Street considered as brownstone as well?

the closest dining halls are all on the main campus, none in south itself.

the closest T stop would be either St. Mary’s Street on the C line or BU Central/BU East on the main campus. both are a short jog from South.

29 Buswell is indeed a brownstone.

not sure about the 5 person sweet…i’ve only been in doubles, triples, and quads.
