I am a rising senior with an unweighted gpa of 3.98 and my ACT is a 30, but I am taking it again in September hoping for a little improvement.
I want to go to a southern preppy school, I would like about 6,000-15,000 undergrads but I am open to anything as of now.
I really like Southern Methodist University, College of Charleston, and U of Miami (I know it's not southern preppy but I still like it).

What schools does everyone suggest I look at? (No farther North than South Carolina please)

I want to visit University of Georgia and possibly Vanderbilt if I can increase my ACT.

Well I was going to suggest Washington and Lee when I read the title, but it’s pretty small <3,000 students, and is in Virginia. But it’s a pretty preppy school with good academics.

May I suggest Wake Forest University? I know it’s in North Carolina, so it doesn’t fit your “no farther North than South Carolina” criteria, but it’s culture is considered quite southern and preppy. Not to mention it’s a good school that’s within your reach.

I think the Wake Forest suggestion is a really good one. Along those lines, Elon in North Carolina also felt very southern preppy, and should be a match for admission with the current stats.

I think you would like Auburn University in Alabama and possibly Tulane University in New Orleans. Although Tulane tends to attract a high number of northereners there’s still a southern vibe to it. Also take a look at University of South Carolina, Louisiana State University, or like others have mentioned Sewanee, Ole Miss, Elon, Wake Forest, etc.
