I was wondering if anyone could offer some info regarding the spanish placement test if they have already taken it. I've already taken 4 years of spanish in high school and I'm hoping to get out of all four semesters for LSA. Does anyone know how many questions you would need right in order to do this as well? I've been hearing somewhere around an 80%

Just finished it…was anyone else not able to finish? haha

I took it two summers ago with 4 years and no AP and found the cutoff to be pretty lenient. Did you place out?

I’m not sure. Is it supposed to tell me?

I thought it was proctored? Is it online?

Spanish is online AND proctored I believe. It’s the only language placement test that is available online.

How long is it and how’s it like?

I actually think that the Spanish placement test is only offered online this year (like the math placement test), but feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.
I took the test a couple of weeks ago and felt that it was pretty easy; I’ve been in Spanish for four years, Spanish 1-3 and then AP this year. There were some grammar questions, some listening questions, and some reading questions. I had ten minutes left over when I finished. I can’t remember exactly how long it was, but, even though it told me I wouldn’t be able to do this, I had time to listen to a couple of the short listening sections more than once, so it isn’t impossible to finish by any means!
