I loved Spanish 21 (the equivalent of 5) with Conchita Davis, and I hear Levy-Konesky is superb as well. It was a pretty easy class and I had a lot of fun and opportunities to raise my grade. Definitely a sort of relaxation from my harder classes. I love the Tufts language program, personally (the Russian program is phenomenal as well)

thanks! I was leaning towards continuing spanish...just wanted to make sure the higher level classes aren't really hard.

the language department at tufts is really amazing! each class usually has 10 people or less. in september, you can take the placement test and maybe you can place even higher... like spanish 21? the point is that you can't go wrong with tufts language. what other schools do you know that requires 6 credits of a foreign language??

btw, you can take culture classes instead of language. (just so you know.)

yes, culture classes are also an option. But i find that with language classes it all depends on the professor. So before you register, look up the available professors and sign up with whoever is received best. Then I'm sure you can't go wrong!

For Spanish 4, I don't know about the professors, but I heard Manso is supposed to be good. But don't hold me to it, there may be better profs that I just don't know about.

i took spanish 1 with Manso Idefons last spring and he was really nice and easy. i'll be taking spanish 2 with him in the fall. that class definitely helped boost my GPA.
