Hey
I was wondering if anyone on this forum was accepted to the Spartan Advantage Program. If any did, how much did you get or was it like fully everything paid for? What did they pay for?

Thanks

I’m a senior in high school and is well inform about the program myself, since once when Michigan State University was my top choice I was looking into financial situations, though also my sister attends Michigan State University and is apart of the Spartan Advantage Progam. It’s a really good progam, and as it seems the students are only left with a total of 2-3,000 of loans for one year alone.

so it pays most of the cost of tuition/books/room cost?

Yeah it will cover most of the overall cost.

(Due to state economy, wouldn’t be surprise if funds given by program will be lesser than average)

I have the Spartan Advantage Program (EFC of 10 so it covers all but $10). I just got my bill and I actually have to take out a little bit of loans for my books because I’m taking half of my classes at 300 level or above (which are more expensive than 100-200 level classes). I will have about 1-2k in debt this year, but will actually come out with more than that because all of my work-study money is going straight into my pocket as I have no more bills.
