I am an incoming freshman who is currently in the process of applying for housing accommodations through Disability Support Services and I was wondering if any students who received special housing requests or those who know someone who did could answer a couple of questions for me about the process of requesting housing accommodations.

What is the DSS interview like and what type of information should I be prepared to give them about my condition (Raynaud's Syndrome)?

Are there any residence halls that are specifically reserved for those who receive special accommodations

Is there a residence hall that most "special needs" students get assigned to?

If you received housing accommodations, what residence hall were you assigned to?

Overall, was your housing accommodations process favorable or unfavorable?

Any and all answers are appreciated :) I'd like to know all that I can about what I might be confronted with in this process, so any and all information is helpful! Thanks!
