just a question for all those attending usc right now.. is it worth giving up a dorm choice to participate in a special interest community? ex: birnkrant's my top dorm choice, but i want to be in WISE, which is in new. would i be missing out on a lot if i chose to live in birnkrant?

what's in birnkrant? WISE is social so is the new/north complex, the hub of the freshmen. i am not social so maybe parkside would be a bet?

Special interest communities are worth giving up choice for. I live on the Rainbow Floor, and I absolutely love it. Living in a special interest community means that you'll have something in common with those around you, for WISE that's an interest, although not necessarily a major in, science and engineering. It might be helpful because you can work together on problem sets and clarify material for one another. I like the special interest community format and highly encourage it.
