Did anyone else get letters this week about signing up for consideration for the Cities Program? I did, couldn't believe that the giant envelope I got today wasn't the good news I hoped it was.
Anyone thinking of joining a program? Any ideas how this reflects/ affects admission?

I got one too! But I don't know what it means....since they only offer it to people with "academic ability" wouldn't u think that it means something good?

I also received info about the Cities Program. I just got back from a French competition, so I haven't had a chance to read it (isn't it sad that I check CC before reading through my college mail?! what is happening to me...?). It says in the letter that I got that there are 3 other similar programs. I'm assuming that in order to be considered for one of those also I'd have to have gotten a packet from it too? I'd like to know more about the Interdisciplinary Science Program too, but I guess I wasn't selected for that one... Anyway, did anyone get packets from one of the other programs??

Once I read through the materials, I think I'll probably apply and see what happens since it's not binding. Just from reading the letter it sounds pretty awesome. Also sounds like a good sign as far as our chances for admission to the College (knock on wood). Congrats to the others who also received the packets!
