Specific essay?

<p>Hello guys! I am currently writing my transfer essay and not sure how specific I should be.
First of all, a lot of people say that transfers should shoul a strong reason.
Second, people say that it is better not to criticise your current college.
Third, common application has one transfer essay for all colleges and each college specifically asks "Why we?"</p>

<p>So how can I be specific, writing an essay for many colleges.</p>

<p>I am an international transfer so I planned to write about American advantages in general.</p>

<p>Is it a good idea? What do you think?</p>
