I know the title is general, but anyways to sum up quickly my grades for this semester are 4 A's, 1 A-, and 1 B. That's for 4 AP classes and two honors. Now I am quite happy with those grades, however the one thing that concerns me is the fact that I want to go into mech. engineering (believe me I love it), however my B is from AP Calc AB, and the A- from Honors Physics.

Will it make a big difference in acceptance that the courses essential to the major are the lowest )?

I'm planning on applying to schools such as University of Illinois and University of Wisconsin, where I am borderline I assume.

Additional info: ACT: predicted 32
GPA: 3.77

Thank you!!
