Speech Language Pathology w/unrelated BA?

I'm planning on applying for a master's degree in SLP for next year but I'm going to get my bachelor's this May in Linguistics. I know I'll need to make up some pre-reqs, but otherwise, do you think that will hurt me? Also, I'm graduating a year early (so in 3 years, not 4) and have taken two graduate courses already (but again, not in SLP). My GPA is pretty good, a 3.56 ish overall and I think a 3.63 major GPA. I'm planning on applying to about five different schools, all in the top 25 for SLP. Should I be concerned about my chances?

I need advice!

Oh, also I feel I should mention: By the time I graduate I will have completed one semester of independent study in linguistics, as well as a year-long senior thesis in inguistics, and worked for over a year for a computer linguistics project. But again, all of these were in linguistics, so is that even helpful?

seriously, can someone help me please?

Hmmm… I know some programs require certain prerequisites in speech/language but, in my experience (as a parent whose child had therapy at a university), there were students with undergrad majors that weren’t speech/language. I’m sure it’s of benefit to major in speech/language but it wasn’t required in the program we used.

I don’t think it will be a problem? - I have a friend who graduated from UCLA with a degree in Linguistics and Psych and she’s planning on applying to graduate school for speech pathology. I have another friend who graduated from UCSD with a major in Psych and Spanish and is now in her second year at Boston University for the M.S. in Speech Pathology.
