while quoting "ne te quaesiveris extra" I quoted "ne te quaesiveras extras". will it decrease my score from 6 to 5 or 5 to 4.
if other things are fine.

<p>Is this for an SAT essay? If so, one single typo, especially in a Latin phrase, isn’t going to devastate your score. (And you might get more help in the test prep forum.)</p>
<p>If this isn’t SAT, I have no idea.</p>
<p>It shouldn’t hurt. If the rest of your essay is grammatically and mechanically sound, it should be no problem. Also, it’s possible the essay grader won’t know the phrase and therefore won’t recognize the spelling error.</p>
