<p>If you think about it, the grader really isn't going to spend a very long time on your essay. If I had to guess, he would probably spend no more than 2 minutes. This is good with respect to spelling errors, since they will probably overlook most of them. It's unfortunate because if you had a killer sentence in the middle of a body paragraph, he probably will miss the awesomeness of it.</p>
<p>I have one perfect score essay (12) from the March 2005 exam with approximately 5 spelling errors.</p>
