Spider attitudes toward ROTCs

What is the broad student attitude toward ROTC cadets at Richmond?

I used to date a Gettysburg AROTC cadet back in the dark ages. Other than the occassional uniform, extra class, and weekend stuff, he fit right in at his college. Intramurals, frat officer, the whole shebang.

Can the same be said nowadays and at Richmond?

Betsy, the ROTC program at UR is pretty popular. I had three guys on my rugby team that were in the program, all three of which are now overseas. Two of those guys were in a frat and aside from their additional training, I think their experience mirrored that of any "normal" student.

UR's program is nationally renowned. Below is a list of accomplishments. Additionally, it is one of five programs in the country that has met its commissioning goals since 2000. In fact, our program has met or surpassed our commissioning goals for the last 16 years.
Just how good is Richmond ROTC?
