Spiked or well rounded subject tests?

I plan on applying as a political Science Major, but maybe double major in Econ. I have already taken the world history subject test (800) and I plan on taking the US History subject test as well (I’m a history buff, so should be another easy 800). For my third subject test (I’m applying to Georgetown), I’ve signed up for Math II. However, as the test approaches, I’m a bit nervous (I got an 800 on a practice test, but timing will be a problem) and I’m thinking of switching to literature. Would it harm me if all my subject tests are humanities? Thanks

Conventional wisdom is that you need one of your subject tests to be either Math II or a science.

Econ will involve math (statistics and calculus), so take Math 2.

It’s better for you to take Math 2. Keep doing more math problems to help fix your timing problem. I had a timing problem as well and I felt that with the more problems that I did, the faster I got in solving them. Doing more problems will help make you more aware of the different types of math problems so it will be less likely for you to spend too long on one problem during test day.

Take math 2.
For Georgetown Poli sci, you could add Foreign Language. A 700+ would be a strong showing.
