One of my friends is planning to double major and one of her majors is predominantly at Haverford. Will this be difficult for her?

Probably not. Classes at Bryn Mawr and Haverford and the bus schedules are pretty well coordinated. For example, one might take a MWF class from 10-11 at Bryn Mawr and then a 11:30-12:30 class at Haverford. TTh isn't quite as easy because classes start and end at the same time at both colleges. For example, if I take a 11:30-1:00 class at Bryn Mawr, I cannot take a class from 10:00-11:30 or 1:00-2:30 at Haverford because I wouldn't have time for the commute.

Generally this isn't really a problem because there are so many classes available that we can work around scheduling conflicts. It gets tricky when one or both of one's major departments are very small. For example, a friend of mine is a computer science major. In most semesters there are only two or three upper-level classes that count towards her major. If those classes conflicted with the classes for another major, she would be in trouble.

It's as easy as pie. I went to Haverford and majored at Bryn Mawr.
