How is the attendance for athletic events. I would imagine football is very well attended but how about basketball baseball ect.

Are most kids studying while the game is going on or are they at the game?

Thanks

Football attendance actually hasn’t been that great in years past but ever since our great season in 2008 attendance has really picked up, was excellent this year and I’m sure will be GREAT next year with the opening of the on campus stadium.

Some people do go to basketball games, but nobody really goes to baseball games that I know of - the baseball field doesn’t really have that much seating that I’m aware of.

Roughly half the students go to football games (which as a percentage is pretty high) and as kellie said, when we move to our new on campus facility, it will be even better, although our team looks as though it may have a rebuilding year next year, but we’re all anxious to see how our new coach does.

Basketball attendance should pick up in the second semester, as the team is having a really strong season thus far (we just beat #13 Florida on Saturday night) and are in great shape for an NCAA berth.

Baseball has been down for a while, but you can sometimes find people with grills out in the outfield. It’s a nice stadium and there are some forthcoming improvements but it’s not the most “fan friendly” park.
