I've been looking around for good Sports Management schools and have only found a few. Are there any really good schools for Sports Management around? (preferably small schools but either way)
Also, do any Ivy League schools have any good programs?
Thanks

Sports Management isn’t a good major - for professional prospects, you’d be better off doing a strong business major (with as much math as possible) in a city with professional sports, and at a college that has good relations with said sports teams, and intern there every summer or throughout your junior/senior years during the school year. Alternatively, any D1 school with any strong sport program will provide you with the experience you need.

Management is a preprofessional major, so it’s not offered at the undergraduate level in the Ivy League.

This was a thought of mine when I was picking my school - I want to work in athletics when I graduate, whether thats college or professionally, however getting a degree in sports management is a poor choice due to the limiting aspect of the degree. You cant do anything else with it. As a freshman this year I’m working as a student manager for our football team and this summer I’m interning at the athletic business office at the university near my home. Experience will matter much more than a degree - being a student manager for a D1 football team for 4 years with related business internships over the summers would set up nicely after graduation for that field.

Also, a lot of it is networking, specifically in the sports industry. You need to know people. So if you take my route, I’d go to a big D1 sports school in whatever sport you’re interested.
