<p>How many freshman are accepted into the Sports Management program at Umass Amherst each year? Also, what is the average gpa is for incoming freshman in the program? Please help! Thanks!</p>

<p>If you can, try to apply to Isenberg out of high school as an incoming freshman. Transferring to Isenberg after you’re already at UMass is extremely difficult and competitive. For starters, I believe you need to hold something like a 3.75 gpa at UMass up to when you apply, which might be for your first 1 or 2 semesters. SoM is very challenging, but from what I’ve heard sports management major is a lot of fun, so good luck if you decide to go for it. But, don’t count on being able to transfer even if you get the good grades, so basically I wouldn’t go to UMass if you only want to go here for school of management/sports management</p>
