Hey all,
I'm a New Jersey student who will be applying here next year. I just want to know in advance...if I apply for the Sports Management major RD, would I have to apply to Isenberg specifically? Also, what would my likelihood of acceptance into that major be? Would I have to go with a second or third choice major?

Its hard to say whether you would get in or not as you don’t list your gpa, sat and ec’s. You apply to the sports management major-not Isenberg. My son did and only got in as undeclared (his second choice). I’m letting him go to Umass as the sports management program is tops in the country and he is determined to apply after his first year and get in (I hope he works hard as we are from NY and the out of state tutition is very high). But there is no argument that for sports management the school is top notch. Good luck.

Sport Management is a very competitive major to get into at UMass. Do you best to have a high GPA and SAT/ACTs, along with good EC’s and try to volunteer or work in a sport related field to boost your admissions chances. My son is graduating from the program in May. He has had many great opportunities at UMass and met some influential leaders from the sport industry. Best of luck to you!

@tiggrsbride thank you! PM me if you want my stats! :)
