I'm swimming..r u doin a sport?!

I'm playing baseball, did you go to the open house?

nah i didnt go to the open house becuase I was up there like a few weeks before for a swimming recruiting trip so i got the whole thing there. I did meet the whole baseball team when they were down in Florida during spring break when they played vs Coast Guard. What position do you play?! Were you at the open house?!

nice..what did you and your parents think of the Academy?!

SAILING....Dinghy style......ooohra....

my dad loved it but he's a commercial fisherman so he loves anything that has to do with the ocean

I played football in high school and i talked to the coach; but im having trouble deciding on sticking with football or trying something down on the waterfront, offshore sailing caught my eye, if there are any football guys or offshore sailors out there that can help me out with the pro's and cons of each thanks

sail, but check out dinghy first....cause you can sail off shore all your life you cant sail dinghy all your life you get old....

does anyone know what like the spring trips are like with the teams? like i know the baseball team goes down to florida during spring break is it like the same thing as being as school with the early early wake up and stuff like that or is it more laid back like a normal sports trip would be like?

We joined our son in Miami for the spring Baseball trip. He got back from 4 months at sea and 2 days later headed out with the team. It was quite a bit more relaxing than I remember my and his HS team trips. They played a lot of games, but the guys had quite a bit of time to relax. (no extra practices) They also had the option of playing in a Golf tourney. There was also a "shopping and sightseeing" trip to the beach. Except for game times, nothing was super structured. The guys were treated as adults and given a lot of leeway.
