Spring 2007 Schedule of Classes

I realize I am being highly neurotic here, but since I don't get to start until Spring 2007, I don't feel so bad about asking a mere week after the fall semester has begun.

So, does anyone know when the Spring 2007 classes are announced? When the Schedule of Classes reflects this? When the individual departments might know and post it (ie, when the English department knows)?

My fairly random slightly-educated guess is very late September/early October, since continuing students get their TeleBears appointments around October 2, Phase I begins October 16, the spring freshmen have CalSO on the 14th (and us transfers on the 20th), and most colleges tend to give a couple weeks for people to arrange things (and for professors to commit or drop on the final schedule).

Are you a spring admit? And are you in Fall Extension? Just out of curiosity.

I'm a spring admit transfer, which is why I said "us transfers." :)

Ooo...I have never heard that one before. Hmm.

im a sprint admit transfer too. have you been able to create your email address yet, undecided? berkeley supposedly still hasnt received my transcripts and ap scores yet. whenever i call them, they say they're still sorting thru them -_-

Haven't been able to create my email address OR sign up for CalSO. The latter one bugs me because ... well, I want to go register for classes before January, dangit.

No AP scores, but my transcripts are all there. I sent them the second I knew I was admitted (well, within a few days), though, so it probably got in before the crunch/"everyone's gone for summer" slow-down. I know my AP scores were sent because I got charged for them. :P Frustrating.

it says we should be able to sign up for calso sometime in mid-sept. hopefully, they'll hurry up with all the transcripts and ap scores. makes me feel uneasy knowing they haven't reviewed my transcripts yet, even tho i know everything on my transcript is accurate =/ hey, we might get to see each other at calso!

Oh, the mid-September thing is new. It had said "available 9/1" all the way up until that. Figures -- I check neurotically and then I stop and new information gets updated. :)

No doubt! I will be there whether they like it or not, so hopefully they'll use common sense (did I just invoke common sense on a large government-funded educational institution?) and take my $60.

I'm very anxious for articulation because it might cause problems for my major if things don't go as I was told they would.

I'm guessing that would be a "nobody knows."

Man. Am I really the only person who's that neurotic?

I guess so. :P

In case any other spring admits read this thread, though: spring students are now up on Calnet. That means you can create your @berkeley.edu address, set up EFT, etc.

Woot!

awesome! thanks for the heads up! just created my berkeley email address =)

And now the Schedule of Classes, Spring 2007, is up and available for viewing.

I think this cinches it: I am completely neurotic. :)

Finally! Now I can figure out my schedule.
