Spring 2008

Hi! I applied for the Spring 2008 semester, and I was curious to know if anyone knows how many students usually apply for the spring semester and how many are admitted? Is it any easier to be accepted for spring than fall?

Hey! I also applied for Spring 2008. I am not sure how many are admitted. My understanding is that is is a little easier to get accepted in the Spring. I got my acceptece to LMU but havent heard from Pepp yet. Have you heard anything??? Pepperdine is my dream school. Good Luck to you!!! :)

Update: I just saw on Collegeboard.com that 461 transfers applied and that 102 were were admited. I am not sure if this is specifically for spring. Hope that helps!

Yes that did help, thank you! I know Pepperdine is definitely my dream school too! I haven't heard anything yet, but i'll keep you posted on here. Hopefully we'll both get in. Congratulations on LMU!

Hey I just went to an information session today at Pepperdine and I got to speak to one of the admissions counselors. She mentioned that for transfers in the spring they can only admit as many people as they have housing for and that they are particularly tight this year. Bad news for us but I am still hoping and praying!!! She also mentioned that applications are good for one year so in case we don't get in we can always apply for Fall 2008

Hey Kells! I was wondering if you had heard yet from Pepp for Spring 2008???

Good luck to both of you for the spring!

I applied for spring admission 2008, i am not a transfer because i took half a semester off.
However I live in Canada and i have yet to be notifited of their decision...
they were supposed to send the letters out Nov15. ... how much longer do you think it will take ?? is it even coming ?? AH!

That's odd. I would call. I got mine and I know of another person who got theirs. I would definitely call and ask considering they were sent out the 15th.

anyone hear anything yet? i got in a couple weeks ago and am excited for spring! see you guys there
