me too , not expecting much admissions is so random

bumppppppppppppp

…twiddle thumbs getting kinda anxious over here. Sept. 15th is the deadline. I called the CLAS admissions office (yet again lol) and they said decisions should be made sometime in the next few weeks!~ can’t wait

ahhh! no way! that is amazing news! the sooner I know the sooner I can begin planning to get an apartment and look for a job! I hope I am accepted!

Hey neelyt noticed that you applied to the Business College in mid July and you got a resonse back pretty quick. I finished up my application last night and I’m pretty anxious. May I ask what your pre req and overall gpa is just to kinda get an idea of what they might be looking for? I have a 3.6 pre req and a 3.75 overall gpa.

gatorgirl, FYI, the college of business has guaranteed admissions if you meet their min standards, which you do. I quote “ALL transfer applicants who meet the following admission requirements will be admitted to the School of Business—there is plenty of space for all who qualify!”
Min requirements - 3.0 overall, and 3.5 prereq. This has been confirmed by several people on here as well.

The link - [Prospective Students - School of Business - Warrington College of Business Administration](http://warrington.ufl.edu/sb/admissions/cctransfers.asp)

^That is correct. I didn’t believe it at first but I guess they weed out a small amount of people with the 3.5 minimum. Since it’s only 7 classes and usually 4 or 5 when you apply depending on your situation.

silvari, post as soon as you hear something! I will be so anxious after sept 15 now! I’m surprised they told you that. a bunch of people on here have said answers like, “you will find out in novemeber.” maybe it will be different because of how half freshman are being accepted for the spring semester? don’t know. hope the date is soon though!

Awesome! Yeah hsb1104 I saw that exact quote on the webiste, but I just figured they’d say that to get as many people as they could to apply. That makes sense that they would weed out most people with the minimum requirements. Did you really find out in just 3 weeks neelyt?

do does anyone know if CLAS (sociology) is limited access?

It’s not. I know Psychology is a limited access major though

thank you! :)

Accepted for spring term 2012 as a transfer student from Miami Dade College; Fisher School of Accounting.

Cumulative Gpa: 3.83

Notified on August 30th at 10:09 in the morning.

ahh thank you lazman! I will be checking admissions everyday now ! lol was that limited access ?

Congratulations Lazman91!!

@xoxoluv2shop- Each college is different. I’m pretty sure CLAS and CALS are notorious for late/longer admission decisions :(

oh no! not good! haha but thanks and congrats!

Thanks everyone and yes it’s a limited access program lol.

I applied to the college of Liberal Arts and Science for Spring 2012 and I’m anticipating my response I know the deadline was Sept. 15, so hopefully we all hear back soon!

My status says my application has been referred to my college for final decision, is anyone else’s the same?

^ mine says the same !

mine has had that status message for 8 months now lol. If i see ‘final decision’ one more time i might lose it
Applying early sucks!!!
