@Madzzz I mean, is it worth it? They usually send the acceptance email to your regular email address also so you shouldn’t NEED it for that, unless they changed it. I’ll email them anyway but I just don’t necessarily see its use until I actually am at the school.

EDIT: I literally just figured it out. Realized it was the same login as MyFIT, not the first name, underscore, last name, @fitnyc.edu because mine had numbers on it. Of course, disappointingly enough, nothing there but old emails about how they received documents and stuff like that. BLAH. WHY DO THEY DO THIS TO US.

@emart95 For some reason I wasn’t receiving any emails from FIT so I wanted to make sure I was able to access my FIT email account. Glad you got it all figured out though :)

@xokikixo Log into MyFIT and then click on the email icon at the top right side of the page. It will open Gmail in a separate window and you should login trying your MyFIT username. It would be (your username)@fitnyc.edu and then your password should be the same as MyFIT. Mine was (my first name)_(my last name)1@fitnyc.edu and my password is the same. You can find the tech help desk email off of FIT’s website. I would email them if it doesn’t work.

Techhelp@fitnyc.edu Just a heads up, they will want your username and password for myFIT. @xokikixo hope they can help :)

@emart95 Still not working. Am I doing something wrong?

My MyFIT login is: (first name)_(last name)
and password is my date of birth (I think everyone’s is their date of birth)

so I tried clicking the email icon and doing firstname_lastname@fitnyc.edu and using my password and nothing still ;(

I applied back in August and everything has been in since Oct. 7! The anticipation is killing me! I hobestly have no idea what theyre looking for, and I’m worried because i screwed up high school, and by the time i took it seriously it was too late. I dont have college transcripts yet since i havent finished a semester, so i literally sent in signed copies of all of my current grades! I’m just praying that they see my improvement in my high school transcripts, my effort into this whole application process, and the potential in my essay. Fingers crossed!

YES! Finally able to access my email for FIT! I emailed Tech and within minutes it was fixed. Must of been something on their end because I’ve been using the correct email and password. So glad I got that all fixed now!

I got the packet finally!! (: “federal regulations require that all international students report to the office of international student advisor withint 30 days of the start of the semester. To comply with this requirement, students must attend a mandatory international student orientation to be held on january 21st” Does that mean that I should be there by December 28th since the first day of class is on january 26st??!?!?!?

Hey guys ! I came across this forum because I was looking for students in the same position as me ! I applied for Spring 2015 semester & I am still ANXIOUSLY waiting. I wish everybody luck & congrats to whoever got accepted already ! :)

@limjuliana I don’t think you need to be there Dec 26th. I think they mean to meet with your advisor once the semester starts (not before) and you have 30 days to do so.

@Rikki1 This wait is killer! I applied for FMM. You?

Another question: It’s too early to apply for Financial aid right? I went on the Fasfa website and I see the 2014-2015 option, but would we all be considered 2015-2016?
