Spring 2015 Transfer Thread

Hi guys, I know it's still a little early, but seeing as spring transfer applications are due October 1st, I thought I would make a thread. So is anyone else applying to transfer to U Mich this spring? If so, which college? I guess we can just do the typical stats sharing that is common in the transfer threads here on CC. I'll go first.

Current School: Emory University
Year: Sophomore
Applying to: College of Arts and Sciences

7. Emory Club Crew, my boat won a bronze medal in Chattanooga, TN during the Head of the Hooch regatta 2013 (freshman)
8. (During summer 2014) Worked as camp counselor for Congressional Schools of Virginia, was my first paid work experience
9. (During summer 2014) I was an unpaid intern at the Arlington Public Schools Languages Services Registration Center to administer exams in Spanish and French to second-language students needing English class placements
10. (During summer 2014) I undertook an independent study with the permission of the Jerome "Buddie" Ford Nature Center in Alexandria, VA to catalog the insect species found at the Dora Kelley Nature Park

I know the numbers aren't very impressive, so I hope that my essays will really show my passion for anthro and linguistics, and how U Mich caters to my specific interests in those fields. Cheers!

by spring semester, do you mean actually their spring semester? or their winter semester? and by college of arts and sciences do you mean the college of literature, science, and the arts?

@Maragidyne‌ Yes and yes, sorry my bad.

General transfer question:
If the 2015 common app deadline for Fall, Spring and Summer transfers is Feb 1st, I do not recall an area that designated if you could prefer 2015 Spring or Summer (instead of fall) , (both options I would be able to do). Or put another way, If you are accepted for Fall 2015, could you opt to take classes in the Spring/Summer 2015. Not sure how this works. Any feedback would be helpful.
