@crimbot my letter was mailed out on the 24th so I should be getting it this week

My letter is here at last now I can send it off in the morning

If anyone here gets their Hunter acceptance email later this week can you please post that you’ve got it. Thanks, i’m just very nervous.

I got my acceptance letter from Hunter this morning!! Yay!

I just got my acceptance email from Hunter!!!

Me too! I got email from Hunter!

Received my email. I got into hunter too

I got my email this morning from Hunter! I got in!

Hello,

I’ve applied to only Baruch as an intra-cuny transfer.
My 4 choices were:
Baruch (Major 1) DAY
Baruch (Major 1) NIGHT
Baruch (Major 2) DAY
Baruch (Major 2) NIGHT

My CUNY portal just updated and it says that the colleges have made a decision (Only Baruch, obviously).
I called the automated system and it said that Baruch College will notify me of a decision.

Because I only applied to Baruch, does that mean I was accepted? Or could it go either way?

@queens12 @Bcs313 Could you guys weigh in?

Thank you.

Me too! Congrats guys. Does anyone know if I can put Hunter into my fafsa this late? I would have to pay a full tuition.

@ck53700 Since Baruch was your only choice, it could go either way.

I have read that if you do not get into Baruch and it was your only choice you will get an opportunity to choose another college.

Hopefully, you do get in.

Best of luck!

@jle7201 You can still add Hunter into fafsa, not late at all.

It takes about a day to update the college, I would also call the college once fafsa is updated to ask if they have you on file.

If you are a NY resident don’t forget to update TAP too.

@queens12 Okay, thanks

@queens12
So how long has it taken for people from:
(1) The time their Portal updated to ‘An admission decision has been made’ to (2) Receiving their acceptance letter/email/notification?

@ck53700 It took me about two weeks from the portal stating “An admission decision has been made” to get an admissions email (subtracting weekends and holidays).

I think for Hunter took longer (some people just received a few acceptance emails).
I don’t think anyone from the forum got a response from Baruch yet.
Brooklyn was faster than Queens

Are you a current CUNY student?

You will probably get an email in the mid of NOV. Hopefully!

@ck53700 Just realized that you are a CUNY transfer student.

I read in other forums that if you receive FA from your current CUNY school. You will get some update or message from your accepted school concerning FA update.

Still waiting for admission letter from ccny. It’s been a week…

Since I just received my Hunter acceptance email a day ago, how long is the time period they give you of when you have to accept it?

Also, would I be enrolling in classes later than regular students at Hunter if I accept it within this week because of orientation and so fourth?
