You’re probably right and that’s what’s killing me. I’m honestly giving it my all and for the first time I’m getting straight A’s while it has been the hardest semester of my life; and they probably won’t care/ it probably won’t make a difference. Theoretically speaking, yeah I don’t know what’s going to happen and they could change their mind, but it just seems like they do not care and they never change their minds. I try to be optimistic, but it’s like the rejection/ the ultimate defeat is looming. I don’t know how else to explain it. Best of luck though, keep killing it this semester!
I am still waiting for a response… I’ve been checking my status screen everyday since October and it still says “in process” ):
So I called admissions today about the enrollment fee, and they said it’s a known problem (the lady was really rude so that sucks) and she said it would be fixed “eventually”. Very helpful!!! lol
@tankitten1 I did the same until i got rejected a few days ago. It’s hard they keep you waiting so long, good luck!
@rutgerstransfer1998 I understand how you feel. It really does suck and it’s hard to keep going when it feels like no matter what, you’ll inevitably fail to reach your goal. I know even if I do super well and appealed, they most likely will not change their decision or even consider changing it. Keep getting great grades, and apply again next time even more prepared. Keep that “it’s not over until you win” attitude!
I’m focusing on doing well this semester, and next semester also doing well, and raising my GPA and then applying end of January 2019, and hopefully being accepted for the fall 2019 semester. I might send them my transcript mid December if I happen to do extremely well, because it can’t hurt.
@flyingsquirrels that is exactly why I don’t like calling schools, I try to email as much as possible. I find people can be so rude on the phone. Were you able to pay?
Has anyone who was accepted received any other information? I’m super anxious to hear any news at all.
@dwtransfer yea I was able to pay when they fixed the glitch, and signed up for orientation through the pathway, still waiting for the credit evaluation though.
Has anyone received a financial aid award letter yet? Or any merit scholarships?
did anyone get their STAR day yet? is it like something you sign up for?
No, I haven’t gotten anything at all, I thought there would have been a physical acceptance letter too since there was when I was admitted for freshman year. Have not gotten a transcript evaluation yet either.
I haven’t received anything either. I did sign up for winter orientation though.
Does everyone’s degree navigator say your major is undecided?
How do you find the degree navigator? Is it through the enrollment pathway?
https://my.rutgers.edu/portal
log in with your net ID. It is in the academics section.
It says I am not authorized to access the degree navigator, have no idea why lol
You will be able to once you’re registered for courses.
Is enrollment pathways down for everyone else?
It shows my transfer credit evaluation is in progress, now I’m getting nervous!
Where do you see that??
Did anyone get to sign up for Star day, and has anyone received their financial aid award? I received the credit evaluation from Rutgers Newark late October but have yet received the one from NB btw.
