Spring 2019 Transfer

@HSCTiger2021 I think I may have had the same issue, but it worked today- maybe because for CAS Econ majors they’re coming out tomorrow.

My Stats Are:
Major: Econ
GPA: 4.0 (In a city college in New York City, pretty well known and decent school- especially for business)
Credits: 51 Completed, 12 in progress. All A’s on midterm report. Economic related classes are micro- which I got an A and currently taking macro.
High School GPA (3.8-something/4)
SAT Scores: Did not submit
EC’s:

  • Blockchain internship with real estate company
  • started a twitter news and sports statistics account- accumulated over 300,000 follower
  • Founded a sports website with over 1,000 articles published (200+ Writers)
  • Real estate internship for 2 months in high school with famous firm
  • Volunteer programs in 2 different countries overseas (a few weeks each)
    Recommendations:
  • 1 from English professor who said I was a top student in his class, he published several books
  • 1 from Communications professor
  • 1 from the person I work with in blockchain internship
    Essay:
  • Wrote about how my volunteer experiences, some working with people in huts and building houses, made me interested in economics, etc… Decent, not amazing

any financial aid portal update? on my to do list:
No current to do item information found.

@poyoya That means nothing. It just means that you have nothing you have to do on your end. They have all your things.

@JeffreyPo Nice man! Well, good luck. Whatever the outcome, accepted or denied, please share with us. Thanks and rest easy!

Seems like after reading the threads from last years’ Spring admissions, everyone who isn’t hearing back tomorrow is in for a waitlist/rejection

My financial aid changed from ‘initiated’ to ‘ordered’ and then to ‘No current to do item information found’ today.
I hope I get my financial aid package soon since that’s what’s going to determine whether I go or not.

As always, best of luck to those still waiting.

@Ivybound11 How do you know that?

what did you use for your NetID? and is your password the one you set up for engage.cornell.edu?

how do you access your decisions page? i can only see the application checklist @JeffreyPo

@JeffreyPo

@hellokitty555 https://decision.applyyourself.com/fl_login.aspx?id=cornellu

@JeffreyPo when did you get your pin in the email?

I don’t know that for certain. Howeve, everyone who got their response after the 10th last year seems to have been rejected @bknets

@Hellokitty555 I just typed in I forgot my password to get my pin sent to my email and made my PW

@IvyBound511 Not sure if there’s a connection. It could be that everyone accepted is sent earlier (Which would make sense) and they decide between applicants who aren’t sure after- on whether they’re waitlisted or rejected

Can anyone access housing portal?

Waitlisted, rejected… Effectually there is no difference lol @JeffreyPo

@IvyBound511 I agree, but if everyone was rejected, there’d be no reason what-so-ever to release decisions on different dates. Hence, the only way to make sense of it all is by factoring in waitlisting

@JeffreyPo I just can’t imagine us all getting/waitlisted. That seems extremely unlikely. And everyone that is on here that can log in at all has the same decision release date and time. I think plenty of rejections tomorrow.

Let’s see if you are right, @igottatransfer. I tend to think @IvyBound511 is not totally correct. If there are rejections today, we will know. Please keep us up to date! 11 am guys. Good luck.
