I am a junior at Temple University. I was recently admitted to study at NYU for the spring semester (and possibly participate in an nonprofit internship). I am excited to go and I really want to experience NYC/NYU, but the tuition and housing comes to 24K. I could work the money out.

A few questions.
-How tough is it to make A's in liberal arts classes (ie how challenging is your courseload)?
-Do most folks really enjoy NYU's education and social life, or is the city the only attraction?
-Are the girls pretty, or are they mostly vagabond/bohemian types?
-Is there anything to do if you are a student on a budget ($100-300 per month)
-Also can anybody give me a heads up on the dorms to be avoided?

Surprisingly enough, most the girls here are the socialite, clubber types. I came in expecting to see alot more of the bohemian types...but I guess I shouldve applied in the 1980's for that. There are defintely ALOT of hot girls here though, so its all good.

I have also been accepted into the Spring in New York program for the spring 2007 semester; hopefully we will meet during orientation!

I am interested in receiving feedback regarding the overall Spring in New York program from students who previously enrolled and participated in the program... Any information regarding the transition from your home institution to NYU, academic advising, course loads, housing, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
