Spring term junior transfer

I'm a rising junior. I just finished two full years of college coursework. If I take a gap semester, can I still get accepted for Spring term transfer admission (and hopefully graduate in Dec 2010)? I'm looking at top 15 schools like Cornell which take in spring transfers. Thanks!

well, it would all depend in how they evaluate your current transcript. If all your credits don't transfer, then it could take longer to graduate. Be careful about taking any more classes, as some schools will not admit transfer students who have too mane credits.
Have you looked at Cornells transfer information ?

A gap semester for no reason other than transfer may not be a good idea, although if you do something really good it could certainly help. What is your major?

If you had a really good job this summer, and could extend it through December, would that look good?

It would look better if you kept it while still taking classes and doing other things.
