hey u guys - ne word as to when it is/who all has received invitations, if so, stats? thx

i got a letter about it two weeks ago, and just called to confirm my spot on monday. it'll be at the end of my spring break (March 31 - April 3).

hey, if you don't mind...could you post your stats? i'm trying to fig out how it is that they choose who to invite/not invite. i understand it's for minorities etc. but more info on this is greatly appreciated. thx :-)

^_^ don't worry about it. posting stats just make people compare themselves to others, and that will worry you or give u too much high hopes.. whatever happens will happen.

spring visitation's purpose, i believe, is to attract the minority students they feel that they would lose to other schools.. if you've shown that you have an immense of interest in ND, maybe that's why they didn't invite you.. it's not like a scholarship competition or anything, so don't worry about it..

i think i was invited only because they felt that i won't consider going to the school (which they have reasons to believe so--including the fact that i'm not even christian) .. so they want to attract those students who would otherwise not consider going there..

Does being invited to spring visitation = definite acceptance? If so, then I've been accepted. Check my previous posts for stats.

I was invited to their visitation weekend.
About average on test scores, but I had a really good GPA and rank.
