Sprint Football

Does anyone here know about sprint football?

Can you walk on if you have never played football but are athletic?

When and how would someone go about joining the team?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

lol I was thinking about posting up a similar question. I havent played football in quite a few years but I'd really like to start playing again. I was really excited to learn about sprint football cause Im only about 155 pounds.

In additions to the questions posted above, does anyone know how much of a time commitment it is and how seriously people take it

Cornell's Sprint Football program is one of the gems of being a Cornellian.

I would say that in terms of commitment is at a higher level than the more dedicated club sports -- rugby and ultimate. But it gets support from the University, which is really nice. I also know the alumni connections and support in Sprint Football are ridiculous.

I would email the head coach, provide some stats (40 yard sprint, bench press, etc.), and he might invite you to an open practice.

Else, look into the rugby team.

Did you play or do you play now?

Nope.......
