Do any of the ivy league schools who have sprint football teams recruit? I see that some schools have a recruiting web page. Would this help an applicants chances of acceptances?

I looked at the Pton sprint football website. If you click on "Coaches" it says "no staff listed for this season." Sounds like a extracurricular with no or limited staff support, which would mean that there's no one to serve as an advocate your application.

What is "sprint" football?

Sprint football is football with a weight limit. I believe five colleges currently have a varsity team: Army, Navy, Princeton, Penn, and Cornell.

At Cornell, the Sprint football program is very popular, and features an extremely devoted alumni base. The kids all tend to be very serious towards academics as well. You can be "recruited" for Sprint Football, but it's obviously not high on the administration's list of sports needing support.

Sprint football is very popular at Penn as well. They won a championship in 2000-2001 season. I doubt there's much recruiting for it since at Penn, there's virtually no cut offs and I think everyone who is interested gets to be on the team but there's no guaranteed play time.
