yeah i know i've said it on the other thread, but session 1 D-1-4 is the best!!! delta dogs, undefeated!! (plus we had Honeybear!!)

Nass2 Charlie 4-2.....Shawn MacEwan was the Squad Leader. He was enlisted for 3 years on subs...then 1 year of Naps...then his Plebe year. What amazing stories he was able to tell his squad. To this day my daughter is still in touch with him and saw him when she went back to CWV in Nov.

My Jake was in session 1 delta

oregon mom, what platoon and squad was he in? if he remembers the girl who did the count off the second night, running down the line of everyone in delta and screaming their number with them, that was me! (our company commander called me "marine corps"). he probably won't remember, but i was the first seminar attendee to do it for our company. (i got some cool nicknames from the people in the company though, like "Motivator", lol). yeah delta!!

peskemom: does your post mean that your daughter was in NASS2, C4-2? If so, Yeah Charlie Co!!

I wish I would have known of this forum earlier -- we live less than an hour away from Annapolis, and I would have liked to get the candidates together whenever the distant ones visited.

If anyone is planning a CWV within the next few months, please let me know.

Hey MamaSparrow -
Son is scheduled to visit 24-25 Feb. I look forward to meeting any of the other service academy parents on this forum. (Wonder if the other schools have camaraderie like this!). I don't recall seeing a "parents" forum anywhere else, except the "cafe".

bz2010 -- would love to get the kids together sometime during the visit, for pizza, with their mid hosts, whatever! Let's keep in touch -- are you planning on visiting, too?

Well, I tho't we'd be going up too, but we might just put him on a plane (as we did for SS). We have family in Glen Burnie - whereabouts are you?

bz2010: We are about 30 miles directly due north of Annapolis.

SS#1 B 3-5 Undefeated. Bostom usmc, we, the Bravo Bumblebees won not you Dogs
