I am curious as to what the daily Summer Seminar schedule looks like. Can anyone who has attended please tell me how it is? I was really hoping to get some time in the morning(maybe about 30 or so mins) to run/do PT.

You're going to have PT during summer seminar but you really aren't allowed to go anywhere by yourself so running and doing pt in the morning probably won't happen. I couldn't find my schedule but it goes something like this: Breakfast, class, lunch, class, activity (intramurals, cfa, PT, or briefings, etc.), dinner, element leader time, sleep. They keep you pretty busy but it's tons of fun. There are a couple days when you have PT in the morning.

You do PT every morning, then breakfast, then session, then lunch, then session, then I am a little fuzzy about the afternoon schedule. I think you do different stuff everyday. Someone can correct me if i'm wrong, its been almost a year. You dont really have too much free time, but you will have some so bring cards or something.

Yeah that all sounds right . What session were you guys in? I was in B last year, C-10

Wow, it feels wierd to be talking to someone who might be part of the class of 2012, and we (2011) haven't even started yet! I guess it's our turn to give people advice.

Yeah, you will be pretty busy, and you will do PT in the morning for about 30 minutes, at least for most of the days. My suggestion is that you bring some cards like Dolphins39 suggested, but that you also use every available second before, um, the middle of the week, to learn some stuff that you, um, need to know. You'll understand what I'm talking about once you get there. Good luck, and have a good time. I hope it helps you decide if you really want to go to USAFA. It helped me.

Z-Man 07: I was at Session A, C-8.

Thanks for all your help. I can't wait until June 10!!

Just wait until you get a large envelope from USAFA with the acceptance letter. Then you'll be saying "I can't wait till June 27!"

No kidding... it's crazy how it's all one big process... graduates leave, we inprocess, juniors go to summer sci... and the cycle continues... lol. Good times...
