Hey guys,
These are my ISEE scores:
Quantitive Reasoning- 99th percentile
Mathematics Achievement- 97th percentile
Verbal Reasoning- 89th percentile
Reading comprehension- 71st percentile
Avg- 89th percentile
These are my SSAT scores:
Verbal: 60
Quantitative: 90
Reading: 94
Total Percentile: 86
So I had gotten my ISEE scores a couple weeks ago and got those turned in for the schools that I was applying to. I just got the SSAT scores back recently and I’m wondering if I should turn those in. I know that the schools I’m applying to-including Andover, Hotchkiss, Choate, L’ville, etc.- prefer the SSAT, but is worth the risk turning the SSAT in (considering the 60 in verbal and the overall lower percentile) or should I stick with my ISEE scores to keep my chances up?
I wouldn’t turn in the SSAT score because 1. your ISEE is fine and 2. your ISEE is higher than your SSAT

The schools “might” prefer the SSAT but it certainly isn’t a disadvantage for you (or other applicants who turned in the ISEE) in any way
That’s just my two cents. Not sure if it’s completely correct though
Send both. The overalls are similar, but the subscores compliment each other. The schools do seem to prefer the SSAT. So sending both makes you look the best and the schools get their preferred test result as well.
