SSAT test in a few days, and in need of urgent vocab improvement

Hello, I am applying to many schools including Groton, Andover, Deerfield, Loomis Chaffee, Saint Paul, and more. I have A’s for every class and I am currently situated in the Netherlands, hopefully putting me at an advantage. I have played football for 7 years and in an academy. I also play chess and I have won regionals twice and nationals twice. I think I did extremely well in other decisive factors, however, this is where my concern is…

SSAT. In the SSAT I am having some difficulty with the vocab part. Even though I revised many words, sometimes none of the words show up on the test. This makes it extremely difficult to understand, also due to me only studying vocab for the SSAT 3 months ago. Before that, my acumen in vocab was extremely poor, it’s better now, but it is not the score that I wanted.

For maths, I rarely get anything wrong in the practice test and almost always achieve an 800. I can even finish the sections in a matter of 15 or 10 min, this being said, I’m very confident in maths.

I really want to get a high score in total and I think the vocab might affect that. To the whole community, is there any way I can really improve it or any tips from test-takers? I have the test in 3 days and I’m still not achieving as high as I hoped for English.

Studying Greek and Roman roots can help.
