<p>I know there are a lot of summer programs out there, and many of them are extrememly expensive, but I think this one is worth it.</p>
<p>Is the Harvard Summer Program worth it? I would be a commuting student, so it's only half the cost. Is it worth the 5k and would it look good if colleges asked about summer programs? I would think it's pretty good, since you have to apply. Also, I'm genuinly interested, so any thoughts? =]</p>

<p>It would definitely show your initiative for learning, but I doubt it will go much beyond that. If you can, apply to those that are free or have scholarships. I don't think harvard ssp is especially hard to get in. Check on the thread called summer programs that look good on apps.</p>
<p>Wow, I really am blind. I didn't notice the summer program section. I think I spend too much time in this section, :D Thanks though, I might, just cause it looks interesting, but only if my parents and I can afford it, and if not, no biggie.</p>
