Congrats to your son, @Jm6844 !
I applied to Financial Economics, Hopefully, I will find out soon
Good luck - I’m sure they’ll get back to you soon as US college decisions come out at the end of the month and I wouldn’t think they’d want to lag behind them
OMGOSH, we are so very excited, my son got an Unconditional offer for Biology this morning at 7am!!! He submitted everything on December 1st. We are from Atlanta,GA. Would love to get to know anyone else from the area that might be going or trying to decide. What an amazing opportunity!
Yep 7am was when my son got emailed the good news today too.
ARe y’all Bio too? and Are you in the States?
We’re from Connecticut. He’s Financial Economics and Management.
when did he submit?
1/1
Thats when I submitted too, hopefully I’ll hear back soon then
I would think within the next two weeks. Good luck!!
Can you tell me if it is better to apply through Common App or other way?
Also, will they be easing up on number of AP tests needed next year?
My son applied via Common app and only submitted 1 AP, though this may have been offset by his SAT (1550).
Any neuroscience applicants out there that have found out yet?
I received an unconditional offer in English/Social Anthropology last week. Is there an accepted students groupchat?
Congratulations on the offer!
If you look on FB for St Andrews class of 2025 there are all sorts of students in there
Hi! I applied to the University of St. Andrews as an International Relations and Spanish major in December via Common App and still haven’t heard back. While initially, this isn’t concerning because I know that they are on a rolling admissions basis and have many applicants, this isn’t the first time they’ve forgotten to send me information regarding the application process. I’m curious at what point (if any) should I email the admissions office to make sure my application wasn’t forgotten about. Am I letting the nerves get to my head? Thanks in advance.
There is no harm in sending an email to enquire. The Student Room thread for St Andrews is buzzing with acceptance / rejections across all depts this week so things are happening.
I emailed them an they got back quickly. They said they usually get back in 6-8 weeks from submission, but this year they’ve received a lot more applications than usual so it’s taking a longer time. My son got his acceptance last Friday morning, so, I’d wait until tomorrow to email them - you may hear tomorrow??
After submitting an app in mid-October, I received an unconditional offer for Neuroscience yesterday! Thrilled considering that St. Andrews is my top choice at the moment.
