**St Andrews in Scotland Acceptance/Rejection Class of 2021**

Congratulations! Which one will you take up, or have you not decided yet? (Or are you waiting for other decisions?)

@hgt730 congrats! Did you apply through UCAS or Common App?

@hgt730 Congrats! I’m applying to the same program, did you send a lot of APs or SAT subject tests?

Wow! Does this mean IR will begin to send out decisions???

Has anyone received an offer for History or Social Anthropology?

Taking the IB and predicted 38 points: History (7), English (6), Economics (6) - but hoping to get 40!

@Conformist1688 I am going to look at it in February, but I will most likely take up the joint degree  @fish10 I applied through UCAS! @froshprospective I sent 4 APs (all 4s- Human Geo, APES, World History, Lang), and no subject tests

To thise wondering about the common app:
I applied through the common app on october 30th and received an unconditional offer for honours geology bachelor’s in the first week of december.

Unconditional for Chemical Sciences came in at 8 am California time.

Congrats @VickiSoCal!

Congrats @VickiSoCal ! We are still waiting on St Andrews. My daughter has played varsity girls golf for 4 years, so the Old Course has some major appeal

Yay!!! Congrats @VickiSoCal !!! I forgot, when did your daughter apply?

She applied Oct 18.

Edinburgh- conditional Nov 3 chemistry
Durham- unconditional Dec 9 biomedical sciences
St. A- unconditional Dec 13 chemical sciences

Still waiting on York and Bath

I hope I am not being too nosy, but I am applying to both Edinburgh and St. Andrews for psychology and hoping for an unconditional. If you have received unconditionals, would you mind listing your grades/scores - just to give me and maybe others and idea of what it takes? I know that the requirements would differ from program to program, but still…

@thor01 - from the prospectus

Psychology and Neuroscience
SQA Highers: AAAB** #
GCE A-Levels: AAB** #
International Baccalaureate Points: 35#
** For BSc Psychology degrees – at least two Highers or one A-Level must include Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Computing Science or equivalent, Geography, Geology, Physics, Psychology.

A levels are kinda like APs in the US- so besides the US regular requirements, you should have one AP score of 4+ in one of the subjects listed.

@Thor01 , my son got an unconditional from Edinburgh in IR with two relevant subject tests over 700 and an ACT combined of 33. He had solid EC’s including lots of foreign language experience, GPA around 3.6. Haven’t heard back from St. Andrews, but app only went in a little over a week ago.

@Thor01 Unconditional offer St. Andrews - SAT 2350, multiple SAT subjects over 700 (including bio), 2 APs (one in Psychology) with grade 5. GPA 4.0

Economics and IR offer. Basically unconditional, as it only asks for an English proficiency certificate. I just needed to send them the IELTS I already took.

congrats @mychael198 what are your stats??

still no offer for an MA in Economics :frowning: I applied October 29th!

Hi @VickiSoCal , thanks for your reply. Could you please remind us again of your D’s stats? So happy for her!
