What are my chances of getting into their BS/MD combined program? Also, is this a good program to be considering?

bump? any thoughts?

I didn’t apply to this program, but I can say that your sat score is way too low for you to be a competitive applicant. Re-take that, and that’s taken care of. But the bigger problem is that you don’t have any medical extra-curriculars. For BS/MD programs, your extracurriculars matter A LOT, more than you would think, and so without any medical extracurriculars your chances are very low. Any chance you could do something this summer? Hospital volunteering, research, etc? Drop me a PM if you need more help.

what would be a recommended SAT score range that would be good?

2100+ could suffice, but pref. 2250+.

If I do get in that range when I retake in the fall, do I have a chance?

Still need Medical related ECs. Hospital volunteering/some shadowing would probably be enough if you could get some in before applications. But still, it’s gonna be tough.

are there any BS/MD schools that seem possible?

SLU’s program. I personally believe it’s the one of the lowest-tier programs to apply to, not because of the rank, but because it’s kinda sketch. I mean, it’s not a guaranteed seat, just preferred. And, they claim that there’s a 98% acceptance to med school, but that statistics is shady because it may not take into account the kids who already dropped out or failed before applying to the med school. Maybe that one?

But does it have a combined program, where MCAT’s are not necessary?

Try the Drexel Programs. Lehigh/Drexel, Drexel/Drexel, Villanova Drexel<—these are 7yrs. There are some 8yr programs w. drexel that are less competitive. (Applying to more than one will help). Take a look at the Temple programs too. Regardless, you MUST raise your SAT score. Note: These programs require MCATs (most 7yr programs do).

How many schools do NOT require MCATs?
